Necrotic collagen anchoring debris to the wound disintegrates and is absorbed by the Chemspunge wound dressing. (No cleaning of the wound is required, the wound is cleaned through osmotic pressure)
Note the necrotic tissue in the first photograph.
Chemspunge debrides and removes the devitalized tissue.
